Ingredients

  • 1 pear, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a square baking dish.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until combined.

  3. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  4. Gradually add the flour and salt to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

  5. Fold in the diced pear.

  6. Pour half of the blondie batter into the prepared baking dish. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter.

  7. Add the remaining batter on top, spreading it evenly. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the top.

  8. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  9. Allow to cool before cutting into squares. Serve and enjoy!
