- 2 cups blackberries
- 2 pears, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup oats
- 1/4 cup butter, cold and diced
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the blackberries, pears, brown sugar, flour, oats, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until well combined.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
