Ingredients

  • 4 cups of stale bread, cubed
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp of nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup of raisins
  • 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the milk, brown sugar, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract.

  3. Add the cubed bread to the milk mixture and let it soak for 10 minutes.

  4. Stir in the raisins and walnuts.

  5. Pour the bread mixture into the prepared baking dish and drizzle the melted butter over the top.

  6. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the pudding is set and golden brown on top.

  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
