How To Make Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Bake a sweet batch of these pumpkin chocolate chip cookies made with pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice, then studded with chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 2cupsflour
  • 1tspbaking soda
  • 1tspbaking powder
  • 1tspsalt
  • 1tsppumpkin pie spice
  • ½cupbutter,slightly softened
  • ½cupbrown sugar,packed
  • ½cupwhite sugar
  • 1tspvanilla
  • ¾cuppumpkin puree
  • 1egg
  • cupchocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.

  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla. Add pumpkin puree and egg and mix well.

  4. Stir the flour mixture into the creamed mixture then add the chocolate chips until fully incorporated.

  5. Using a 1½ tablespoon scoop, drop onto ungreased cookie sheets. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.

  6. Press cookies down slightly then bake in preheated oven for 14 to 16 minutes. Allow to cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes before removing to a wire rack.
