Ingredients

  • 2 cups plums, pitted and sliced
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the plums, apples, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Mix well.

  3. Transfer the fruit mixture to a baking dish.

  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, butter, and salt until crumbly.

  5. Gradually add in the milk, stirring until the mixture forms a thick batter.

  6. Drop spoonfuls of the batter evenly over the fruit mixture.

  7. Bake for 40 minutes or until the fruit is bubbling and the topping is golden brown.

  8. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
