How To Make Chocolate & Ginger Refrigerator Squares

Ingredients
- 200g dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 200g digestive biscuits, crushed
- 100g unsalted butter, melted
- 150ml condensed milk
- 100g crystallized ginger, chopped
Instructions

Line a square baking dish with parchment paper.

In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth.

Stir in the ground ginger until well combined.

In a separate bowl, mix the crushed digestive biscuits with melted butter until evenly coated.

Press the biscuit mixture into the bottom of the lined baking dish to create a crust.

Pour the condensed milk over the biscuit crust and spread evenly.

Sprinkle the chopped crystallized ginger over the condensed milk.

Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the top, using a spatula to spread it evenly.

Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the chocolate is set.

Once set, remove from the refrigerator and cut into squares.
