Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cream, butter, and corn syrup. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture reaches a boil.

  3. Reduce heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.

  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and sea salt.

  5. Stir in white chocolate chips until melted and smooth.

  6. If desired, stir in chopped pecans.

  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.

  8. Sprinkle additional sea salt on top if desired.

  9. Let the fudge cool at room temperature for about 2 hours, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until firm.

  10. Once firm, remove from the baking dish and cut into squares.

  11. Serve and enjoy!
