  • 200g dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp rum
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a heatproof bowl, add the chopped dark chocolate.

  2. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just starts to boil.

  3. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for a minute.

  4. Stir the mixture until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

  5. Add the rum and mix well.

  6. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for about 2 hours or until the mixture is firm.

  7. Using a teaspoon, scoop a small portion of the mixture and roll it into a ball using your hands.

  8. Roll the truffle in cocoa powder to coat evenly.

  9. Repeat with the remaining mixture.

  10. Place the truffles in an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
