- 4 egg whites
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp of cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 200°F (95°C).

In a clean bowl, beat the egg whites until frothy.

Gradually add the sugar, cream of tartar, and vanilla extract while continuing to beat the mixture until it forms stiff peaks.

Using a piping bag or spoon, create mounds of the meringue mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake in the preheated oven for 90 minutes or until the meringues are dry and crispy.
