  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the brown sugar, heavy cream, butter, and salt.

  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil.

  3. Reduce the heat to low and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
