- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of golden syrup
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1/2 teaspoon of vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, golden syrup, butter, water, vinegar, and vanilla extract.
