How To Make Orange Olive Oil Cake

Ingredients
- 2 oranges
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.

Zest one orange and set aside. Juice both oranges and set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add the eggs, olive oil, orange zest, and 1/2 cup of the orange juice to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, dust the top of the cake with powdered sugar. Serve and enjoy!
