  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a bundt cake pan.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the flour mixture, mixing until just combined.

  6. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt cake pan and smooth the top.

  7. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  8. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

  9. Remove the cake from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
