  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ivy extract
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine the milk, ivy extract, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and egg. Mix well.

  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.

  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.

  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack.
