Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Add in the butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla extract, and milk.

  5. Gradually pour the egg mixture into the dry ingredients, mixing until well combined.
