How To Make Tilly’s Trifle

- 1 sponge cake, cut into small cubes
- 1 cup of mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 cup of vanilla custard
- 1 cup of whipped cream
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

In a trifle dish or individual serving glasses, layer half of the sponge cake cubes at the bottom.

Pour half of the vanilla custard over the berries.

Repeat the layers with the remaining sponge cake, berries, and custard.

In a mixing bowl, combine the whipped cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip until stiff peaks form.
