How To Make Pecan Pie Bars

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 2/3 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, melted butter, brown sugar, and salt. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.

Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden.

In another bowl, mix together the chopped pecans, corn syrup, granulated sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Pour the pecan mixture over the baked crust and spread it evenly.

Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the filling is set and slightly golden.

Remove from the oven and let it cool completely in the baking dish before cutting into bars.
