Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tomato, seeded and diced
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.

  2. Add the lime juice and mash the avocados with a fork or potato masher.

  3. Add the tomato, red onion, jalapeno pepper, cilantro, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
