How To Make Lebanese Chicken and Rice Pilaf Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup pine nuts, toasted
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
Instructions

Season chicken with allspice, cinnamon, cumin, and salt.

In a medium pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened.

Add chicken and brown for a few minutes.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until rice is tender and chicken is cooked through.

Fluff rice with a fork and add toasted pine nuts and chopped parsley.
