How To Make Italian Chicken Marinade

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried basil, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Place chicken breasts in a ziplock bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them.

  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight.

  4. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium heat.

  5. Remove chicken from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.

  6. Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center.

  7. Remove chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

  8. Serve and enjoy!
