How To Make Honey-Balsamic Chicken Recipe

Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 30 minutes
Total: 45 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, honey, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Place the chicken breasts in a large zip-top bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and gently massage the marinade into the chicken. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight.

  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  4. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off, and place them in the skillet.

  5. Cook the chicken for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.

  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

  7. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
