How To Make Israeli Borekas Recipe
A flaky pastry filled with savory cheese, perfect for a snack or appetizer.

Ingredients
- 2 sheets of puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup of feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup of green onions, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a bowl, mix feta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and green onions.

Cut each pastry sheet into 6 squares.

Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of cheese mixture onto each square.

Brush egg wash around the edges of each square and fold in half to form a triangle.

Press edges together to seal and brush egg wash on top.

Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and place borekas on a baking sheet.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
