How To Make Irish Potato Farls

Ingredients
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions

Boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender. Drain and mash until smooth.

In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, flour, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the dough comes together.

Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a round flatbread shape, about 1/4-inch thick.

Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat and brush with melted butter.

Cook the potato farls in the skillet for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the skillet and cut each farl into quarters.

Serve warm as a side dish with butter or your favorite toppings.
