- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of buttermilk

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.

Make a well in the center and pour in the buttermilk. Mix until a dough forms.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead for a minute.

Shape the dough into a disc about 1 inch thick.

Heat a griddle or non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Cook the farls for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
