  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a small bowl, combine paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).

  3. Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, then sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken.

  4. Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.

  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

  6. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
