How To Make Indian Tofu Shahi Paneer Recipe

A flavorful blend of tofu and paneer cooked in a creamy sauce with aromatic spices, perfect for vegetarians.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 200g Tofu
  • 200g Paneer
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 green chillies, chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 cup cream

Instructions

  1. In a pan, heat the ghee and add cumin and coriander seeds.

  2. Once they start to splutter, add onions and sauté until golden brown.

  3. Add ginger and garlic paste and fry for a minute.

  4. Add chopped tomatoes and green chillies. Cook for 5 minutes.

  5. Add turmeric, garam masala and salt. Mix well.

  6. Add paneer and tofu. Mix gently and cook for 5 minutes.

  7. Add cream and let the dish simmer on low flame for 5 minutes.

  8. Serve hot with naan or rice.
