How To Make Filipino-Style Barbecue Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken drumsticks
- 1 cup banana ketchup
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup calamansi juice (or lemon juice)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- bamboo skewers, soaked in water

In a bowl, combine banana ketchup, soy sauce, calamansi juice, minced garlic, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and black pepper. Mix well.

Add chicken drumsticks to the marinade, making sure they are fully coated. Marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best flavor.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated chicken onto soaked bamboo skewers.

Grill the chicken skewers for about 10-12 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and slightly charred.
