How To Make Dutch Chicken Satay Recipe

A mouth-watering satay recipe with tender chicken marinated in a spicy peanut sauce.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp of dark brown sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp of ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix peanut butter, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, cumin, and cayenne pepper.

  2. Add chicken and marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.

  3. Preheat a grill to medium-high heat.

  4. Thread chicken onto skewers, and brush with vegetable oil, and season with salt.

  5. Grill chicken for 8 to 10 minutes or until cooked through, rotating occasionally.

  6. Serve hot with peanut sauce.
