How To Make Trio’s Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe

Juicy mushroom caps stuffed with a savory blend of cream cheese, spinach, and Italian sausage.

Ingredients

  • 16 large stuffing mushrooms
  • 1/2 pound of Italian sausage
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 3 ounces of cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup of frozen spinach, thawed and chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Remove stems from mushrooms and set aside.

  3. Brown sausage and garlic in a skillet over medium heat.

  4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, parmesan cheese, spinach, and sausage mixture.

  5. Season with salt and pepper.

  6. Stuff mixture into mushroom caps and place on a baking sheet.

  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until mushrooms are tender.
