How To Make Savannah Smile Lemon Ice Cream

A zesty lemon ice cream that will make you smile with every scoop.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the cream, milk, and sugar over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.

  2. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice and zest.

  3. Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then pour into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions.

  4. Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
