Ingredients
- 4 medium-sized apples, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1/2 cup of old fashioned oats
- 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 cup of cold unsalted butter, diced
- Caramel sauce, to drizzle (optional)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a large bowl, mix together the diced apples, granulated sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Transfer the apple mixture to an 8-inch square baking dish.
