How To Make Nitro Popcorn with Butter Powder

Ingredients

  • 1 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Liquid nitrogen
  • 2 tsp butter powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

  2. Add the popcorn kernels and cover the pot with a lid.

  3. Shake the pot until the popping slows down, about 2-3 minutes.

  4. Transfer popcorn to a baking sheet and let cool.

  5. Using gloves and safety equipment, pour liquid nitrogen into a bowl.

  6. Add the popcorn to the liquid nitrogen and let sit for a few seconds.

  7. Remove the popcorn from the liquid nitrogen using a slotted spoon and transfer to a serving bowl.

  8. Sprinkle butter powder and salt over the popcorn to taste.
