How To Make Mimi’s Cafe’s French Dip Sandwich
Tender roast beef stacked on a toasted baguette with melted Swiss cheese, served with au jus for dipping.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. sliced roast beef
- 4 French baguettes
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cut the baguettes in half.

Layer roast beef and two slices of Swiss cheese on one half of each baguette.

Toast in the oven for 5-10 minutes, until cheese is melted and bread is crispy.

In a saucepan, combine beef broth, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.

Serve sandwiches with small cups of the au jus for dipping.
