How To Make Le Peep’s Cinnamon Roll French Toast Recipe

Ingredients
- 8 slices of cinnamon raisin bread
- 4 large eggs
- 2/3 cup of whole milk
- 2 tbsp of maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp of ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp of nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
- 4 tbsp of unsalted butter, for frying
- 1/4 cup of chopped pecans
- Powdered sugar, for garnish
Instructions

In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, making sure both sides are coated well.

In a large non-stick skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

Once the skillet is heated, place the bread slices and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Remove from the skillet and sprinkle with chopped pecans and powdered sugar.

Serve warm with additional maple syrup if desired.
