How To Make Hardee’s Apple Turnover Recipe

Delicious apple turnovers with a flaky crust and sweet apple filling.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 2 medium-sized apples, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp of granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp of cornstarch
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Roll out puff pastry and cut into 4 equal squares.

  3. In a mixing bowl, combine sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and cornstarch.

  4. Place a heaping spoonful of the apple mixture onto each pastry square.

  5. Fold the pastry over the apple mixture to create a turnover shape.

  6. Press the edges with a fork to seal.

  7. Brush the beaten egg over the top of each pastry.

  8. Place the turnovers on a lined baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.

  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
