How To Make Garrett’s Dark Chocolate Caramel Corn Recipe
A crunchy and decadent snack made with freshly popped popcorn, drizzled with rich dark chocolate and gooey caramel.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat oven to 250°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Pop popcorn kernels using your preferred method and place in a large mixing bowl.

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil.

Remove from heat and stir in baking soda. The mixture will bubble and thicken.

Pour caramel mixture over popcorn and stir until evenly coated.

Spread popcorn onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

Melt dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring in between until smooth.

Drizzle melted chocolate over the caramel corn and let it cool for 10 minutes.
