How To Make Farmers Market Restaurant’s Carrot Cake Recipe
This classic carrot cake is moist, flavorful, and topped with creamy frosting.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups grated carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.

In another medium bowl, whisk together eggs, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.

Gradually add dry ingredients to egg mixture and stir until well combined.
