How To Make Church’s Chicken Apple Pie Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 cups diced apples
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 pie crust
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F.

In a large bowl, mix together apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

Add in lemon juice and stir to combine.

Pour mixture into pie crust and dot with butter.

Cover with second pie crust and seal edges.

Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
