How To Make Captain George’s Crab Cakes
Delicious, crispy crab cakes with chunks of crab meat and flavorful seasonings.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb. lump crab meat
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, and pepper.

Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

Divide the mixture into 8 portions and shape each into a cake.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the crab cakes and Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.

Serve with lemon wedges and enjoy.
