How To Make Brock’s BBQ Collard Greens Recipe
A smoky and savory twist on classic collard greens, slow-cooked with bacon and a tangy barbecue sauce.

Ingredients
- 1 bunch collard greens, washed and chopped
- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp liquid smoke
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a large pot or dutch oven, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy.

Add onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add collard greens and enough water to cover the greens.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.

In a separate bowl, whisk together apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup, yellow mustard, and liquid smoke.

Pour the barbecue sauce over the collard greens and stir to combine.

Simmer for 1.5-2 hours, until the collard greens are soft and tender.
