How To Make Tamarind Chicken with Golden Mash

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 3 tbsp tamarind paste
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish

In a bowl, mix tamarind paste, soy sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic powder, and black pepper. Add chicken breasts to the marinade and let it marinate for 30 minutes.

Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the chicken breasts for 6-8 minutes on each side or until cooked through.

Meanwhile, boil the diced potatoes until tender. Drain the water and return the potatoes to the pot. Mash them with butter, milk, and salt until smooth and creamy.

Serve the grilled tamarind chicken with a side of golden mashed potatoes. Garnish with fresh parsley.
