How To Make Sticky Chicken

Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Optional: sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a small saucepan, combine the soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, ketchup, garlic, and ginger. Cook over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved.

In a separate bowl, dissolve the cornstarch in 2 tablespoons of water to make a slurry. Pour the slurry into the saucepan and cook until the sauce has thickened, about 2-3 minutes.

Place the chicken thighs on the prepared baking sheet and brush them generously with the sticky sauce, reserving some for later.

Bake the chicken for 30 minutes, then brush with the remaining sauce and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze is sticky and caramelized.

Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Optional: Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions for garnish.
