How To Make Spiced Chicken Balti

Ingredients
- 500g chicken breast, diced
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 cup tomatoes, pureed
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves, for garnish
Instructions

Heat oil in a large pan and sauté the onions until golden brown.

Add garlic, ginger, and green chilies. Cook for a minute.

Add turmeric, cumin, coriander, and garam masala. Cook for another minute, stirring constantly.

Add the chicken and cook until it is browned on all sides.

Stir in the tomato puree and yogurt. Season with salt.

Reduce the heat, cover the pan, and simmer for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
