Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 mango, peeled and diced
- 2 limes, juiced
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions
-
In a blender or food processor, combine the diced mango, lime juice, honey, garlic, chili powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and salt. Blend until smooth.
-
Pour the marinade over the chicken wings in a large ziplock bag or bowl. Make sure the wings are evenly coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor.
-
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat or preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
-
If grilling, place the wings on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice char. If baking, arrange the wings on a baking sheet lined with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and golden.
-
Remove the wings from the grill or oven and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve hot and enjoy!
