Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup jerk seasoning
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and onion slices for topping
  • 4 slices of cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, jerk seasoning, breadcrumbs, onion, cilantro, garlic, and egg. Mix until well combined.

  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.

  3. Preheat grill or pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

  4. Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom bun, topping with lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese (if using), and the top bun.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
