How To Make Dutch Oven Balsamic Chicken Recipe

Tender chicken thighs in a tangy balsamic glaze, cooked to perfection in a Dutch oven.

Ingredients

  • 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, honey, olive oil, garlic, thyme, salt and pepper.

  3. Generously season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.

  4. Heat a Dutch oven over medium-high heat and add chicken thighs, skin side down.

  5. Cook until skin is golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.

  6. Flip chicken over and pour in balsamic mixture, coating chicken evenly.

  7. Transfer Dutch oven to oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

  8. Serve hot with your favourite sides.
