Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

  3. In a small saucepan, combine the balsamic vinegar, honey, olive oil, and garlic powder.

  4. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the glaze thickens.

  5. Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add a bit of oil to the skillet if needed.

  6. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.

  7. Brush the chicken breasts with the balsamic glaze and transfer the skillet to the oven.

  8. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.

  9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or basil.
