How To Make Buckwheat Pancakes

Delicious and healthy pancakes made with buckwheat flour.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of buckwheat flour
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil
  • Maple syrup and berries for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the buckwheat flour, baking powder, and salt.

  2. In another bowl, whisk together the honey, almond milk, egg, and coconut oil.

  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir until combined.

  4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and scoop 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan.

  5. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for an additional minute.

  6. Repeat with the remaining batter.

  7. Serve with maple syrup and berries.
