Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cups of fresh rocket leaves
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or gruyere)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Place the pre-made pie crust in a greased 9-inch pie dish.

  3. In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet and crumble into small pieces.

  4. In the same skillet, sauté the mushrooms until browned and tender.

  5. Layer the cooked bacon, mushrooms, and rocket on top of the pie crust.

  6. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.

  7. Pour the egg mixture over the ingredients in the pie crust.

  8. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.

  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set in the middle and lightly golden on top.

  10. Allow the quiche to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
