  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Place the grated potatoes in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  4. Divide the potato mixture into 4 portions and shape each portion into a flat patty.

  5. Carefully place the potato patties into the hot skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

  6. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
